​Squirrel removal involves the same process as raccoon removal but requires a different one-way door. An inspection is done to locate points of entry. 

The area around the entry point is screened and a one-way squirrel door is installed. Sometimes the squirrel(s) may be out when we do the work, as they are day-time animals. However, this cannot be assumed. The one-way squirrel door will allow them out and they will not be able to re-enter. The wildlife control technician will make squirrel prevention recommendations while on-site.

There are two main types of squirrels in the GTA: the eastern grey squirrel and red squirrel. Red squirrel removal can potentially pose more of a problem than grey squirrel removal, as they are sneakier and significantly smaller. Therefore they can fit through much smaller spaces. If the problem is red squirrels, extensive prevention measures may have to be taken to eradicate the problem.
